Frequently Asked Questions
What makes PLU Laboratories different from other copper peptide brands?
PLU Laboratories focuses on dual-peptide systems at research-informed levels without filler ingredient dilution. Most peptide serums contain either GHK-Cu or other peptides, and many dilute peptides with hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, or botanicals.
We pair complementary peptide technologies: GHK-Cu with Matrixyl 3000 for skin appearance in our GHK-Cu Face Tonic, and GHK-Cu with Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3 for hair appearance in our GHK-Cu Hair Tonic. For broader education, see our Best Copper Peptide Serum guide.
Should I use Face Tonic, Hair Tonic, or both?
Face Tonic: Targeting skin firmness appearance, fine lines, or texture? Our GHK-Cu Face Tonic combines copper tripeptide-1 with Matrixyl 3000. Browse related education in Copper Peptide Face Serum.
Hair Tonic: Targeting hair density appearance or scalp health? Our GHK-Cu Hair Tonic combines copper tripeptide-1 with Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3. Explore more in Copper Peptide Hair Serum or Men's Hair Tonic.
Both: Many customers use both daily for comprehensive support - under 60 seconds total.
How do I use these products in my routine?

Hair Tonic: Apply 2-3 drops to clean, towel-dried scalp once daily. Massage, do not rinse. Details on the GHK-Cu Hair Tonic page.

Why don't PLU products include hyaluronic acid or vitamin C?
Published research on GHK-Cu, Matrixyl 3000, and Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3 examines these peptide complexes without additional actives in the same formula. Adding hyaluronic acid or vitamin C to the same bottle can lower peptide levels.
Use peptides first, then apply other actives separately. See our Copper Peptide Serum overview for more guidance.
Are these products suitable for sensitive skin?
Peptides are generally well-tolerated. Our formulas avoid parabens and sulfates and focus on peptide delivery.
If you have sensitivities, patch test first. Ingredient lists are available on the GHK-Cu Face Tonic and GHK-Cu Hair Tonic pages. Questions? Email productteam@plulaboratories.com.
